The Greatest Spiritual Awakening You Can Have In Your Life

The transition between the Solar Plexus and the Heart is one of the biggest leaps in consciousness that anyone can make in their lifetime. It is the transition between an individual awareness of self, and the awareness of you as a part of a much larger organism.

Many of us can have this experience as children, but the truth is it happens differently for everyone, for some it may come at the very end of your life, and for others, at the very beginning.

If you think about the way in which we experience reality, it most certainly appears as though everyone has their own personal lens through which they can observe reality around them

As we look deeper into the nature of our own ‘personal reality lens’, we see that this lens is colored by many other lenses that are the closest to you personally. Meaning, if you grow up in a family of 4, your own view of the world, your lens, will be colored by the shared experiences that you had with 3 other close people to you.

It is a mental, emotional, and spiritual reflection. Your not PHYSICALLY looking through the eyeballs of your brother, but you are still feeling them emotionally, seeing them in your mind, and connecting with them spiritually, in the realm where all things are One.

Once we grow up, and leave home to adventure and see the world, our view of the world changes with it, because our own personal lens is now taking in the data from many more lenses and viewpoints than it had before, and we change who we are.

The spiritual path is the one of the learner. When we recognize that we can learn from everyone, reality opens up and becomes bigger. There are more possibilities, more connections to be made, and you realize that you can do far more than you ever previously thought you could. This is living in the question, like from this video here.

It is in this way, that we begin to learn to see with clarity through the minds eye. We can see the collective mind, begin to understand why people act the way that they do, and begin to learn to communicate in a way that uplifts those around you constantly.

This really comes down to the core point that i’d like to discuss in this article, and that is of course, being a good person.

How does one “be a good person?” you might ask? Well, lets look up the origins of the word, and see what we get.

good (adj.)

Old English god (with a long “o”) “excellent, fine; valuable; desirable, favorable, beneficial; full, entire, complete;” of abstractions, actions, etc., “beneficial, effective; righteous, pious;” of persons or souls, “righteous, pious, virtuous;” probably originally “having the right or desirable quality,”

Did you catch that?

The origin of “Good” was god with a long ‘o’.

Spiritual striving to be valuable, favorable, beneficial, whole, effective, righteous —> These are what break down the boundaries between all people. Regardless of gender, regardless of class, race, belief system. If you act in a way that is in harmony with the world around you, and strive to bring virtue to those around you, you will be virtuous, and will ultimately be “a good person.

If everyone woke up tomorrow and acted that way, it wouldn’t take more than a couple of days for all of us to create a new way of life together, one of collaboration, and celebration.

Peace to you and yours,
Jordan

Self-Mastery: How to Become Your Own True Love

A relationship is never the answer to your loneliness. Any feelings of emptiness, unhappiness, depression or self-hate can exist within you before you meet your partner. Most people tend to create new relationships based not on what they want, but in response to what they perceive to lack. They look outside of themselves, saying, “when I find someone, I will be happy, satisfied, and fulfilled’.

Screen Shot 2016-07-20 at 12.07.53 AMWhen they do find someone to have a relationship with, it is exciting and fulfilling for a few months, maybe a few years.

When the original feelings come up again, they can start blaming the other person for their loneliness, depression, self-hate and their unhappy life. The other person, in turn, may dim their own light, by demanding your energy, time, and your personality.

It is their fear, their pain and their depression that starts chasing you, sucking your energy and imprisoning your beautiful free soul. You may do the same to them because of your own emptiness.

NOTHING outside of yourself, not a relationship or another person, will ever bring you true happiness, fulfillment or peace of heart if you aren’t already happy with yourself.

You are your own hero, your own lover, your own answer to all of your prayers, and your own TRUE LOVE.

Today is the day to become your own True Love! Start to love every aspect of yourself, including all of your Darkness and your Light. Start to appreciate and love your own personality; become your own best friend.

Start to embrace all that you are in your divinity. Stop waiting for something or someone outside of you.

YOU are what you’ve been looking and waiting for the whole time. Stop searching, stop demanding. Each of us is a free, sovereign spirit, meant only to share and celebrate our true essences together. Continue reading

The Story of Heaven and Hell as Told by an Ancient Samurai

samurai_shootingEarly one morning,  a little monk by the name of Jamyang was sitting deep in meditation when spotted something on the distant horizon – It was a solitary figure marching towards the monastery.

The monkey squinted his eyes trying to focus on the growing figure. As the figure marched closer and closer it appeared to be a warrior of some sort, a samurai possibly – he has two long swords hanging low and armour that was flapping stiffly in the wind.

This was a very long way for a samurai to travel. Interesting.

The monk watched as the mysterious figure drew closer. From what he could see, it appeared to be a ronin— a rogue with no master. He was a very large, brutish looking man with a long stride and a scowl on his face that was visible even from this distance. The monk waited calmly.

After some time the warrior eventually arrived, stopping just a few feet in front of the old monk and kicking up dust, his hands resting on the butts of his weapons. “Monk,” he hissed, “I have come to learn what you know about heaven and hell. Tell me everything.” Continue reading

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Have you ever asked the question “why do bad things happen to good people?” Or (even more confusingly) “why do good things happen to bad people?”

Often we just throw our hands up and say “life’s not fair!”  However, this is an incorrect statement because life indeed is fair. We all create our realities using the same rules as everyone else. It’s just that the rules have nothing to do with being good or bad!

sad-coupleTo understand these rules, the first thing we should keep in mind is that many of us have been raised to believe that good deeds are rewarded and bad deeds are punished. We are programed to believe that if we act as if we are “good,” good things will happen and if we act “bad,” bad things will happen.

Now, this type of programming is used to manipulate our actions so that we will behave the way our parents, teachers and governments want us to behave. However, even though our parents, teachers and governments believe that good and bad can be defined and receive consequences, the universe does not.

The truth is, the universe isn’t punishing or rewarding anyone. Again, I’ll say it again for more effect: the universe isn’t punishing or rewarding anyone. Continue reading

What Does Humanity Deserve? The Answer Will Have You In Tears

What is it that humanity deserves? Look at what we’ve done to this planet, to each other, to the animals and creatures that live here. Do we deserve punishment and lashings for all we’ve done? Do we deserve to perish as a species?

Love

What does humanity deserve? A fresh, new beginning. We deserve love, compassion and understanding.

Yes, I am fully aware of the many atrocities that have been committed on this planet, from the genocides, the trashing of our waters and land, the wars, the lies and falsehoods.

I am aware of the way our social systems are set up in a way to favor only the wealthiest of the wealthiest. Continue reading
