How To Balance And Strengthen Your Energy Cords

This is a visualization from the Peruvian shamanic tradition brought to you by Trevor Lewis, an empath healer and author. This exercise ensures you’re using energies wisely. To start, pick any area of your life where you want to change the energy you’re investing.

This can be a person or a concept, for example a relationship, friendship, money, or job. You can do this visualization with all areas of your life. Checking the cords within your life ensures that you have the right balance of energy with every person and field.focused-mind-energy

Next, when you have a person or concept in mind, imagine two cords connecting you to the target:
    1.    One for energy going from you to them or the concept.
    2.    One for energy coming from them or the concept to you.

Now, in your minds eye look at the two cords and ask:

1. Do they contain light or dark energy? If there is a dark energy present, imagine the light energy dissipating the dark until there’s only light energy.
2. Is it an equal exchange of light energy? If not, are you putting out more light than you are receiving back or vice versa? Now, visualize an equal amount of light energy exchanging between the cords.

When you want an increase of flow, resulting in a stronger connection for a significant relationship, visualize more light energy flowing through the cords. See the cords begin to strengthen and become more vibrant. Continue reading

How to Strengthen Your Intuition & Hear Your Inner Voice

To once live without someone and now never wanting to live without, opens the power that intuition can possess.

Every human has an internal guidance system known as intuition that can be heard and felt. “There are many voices in our heads. We have the voices of our parents, teachers, inner critique, and there is a silent intuitive guiding voice. We have to learn to listen to it. We hear it every day among the millions of voices we have in our heads,” says Verne. Intuition is always trying to speak up. “The voice of coulda, shoulda, thought of, thought so, and knew it are all signs of intuition.”

Each of us has the capability to develop and use our intuition. “It’s not very complicated, it’s finding the voice and experimenting with it,” says Verne. You’ll begin to feel your guidance and this will bring a better quality of life. Continue reading

The root chakra is an energy center located at the base of the spine. When it vibrates there’s a vibrant red color in your aura. The root chakra is connected to grounded physical, emotional, and mental well-being.  It’s known as the first chakra with a strong connection to survival, generational patterns, and security with food, money, love, etc. The root chakra holds the base of our lives. Check out Chakras 101: The Root Chakra to find out more.

Working consciously with the root chakra can have a profound effect in healing the mind and body connection. Your root chakra may be closed, open, or overactive, so here are some guidelines to evaluate what your root chakra is doing.chakras

When your Root Chakra is closed: You may feel abandoned by your parents, friends, or a partner. You feel that you’re constantly scrapping by, going without, and holding on to life barely surviving. You may have thoughts relating to a lack of money or food. You feel that you’re not connected to anyone in your presence so you act aloof and withdrawn. You have negative self-talk that you hate your body and you’re not good enough the way you are. Depression, no endurance, anxiety, lack of focus, and restlessness are what you feel on a daily basis.

When your Root Chakra is open: You feel that you’re wanted and belong with your family or friends. You’re healthy with a strong connection to your body and happy with your current physical manifestation. You’re financially secure and manage money well, with a steady flow of having what you need and want. You work with the world and trust in the universe.

When your Root Chakra is over-active: You have materialistic thoughts placing your self-worth on what you have. You may develop an overactive sex drive, with greediness, anger, aggression, annoyance, controlling and impulsive behavior. It’s difficult for you to accept change and have very rigid boundaries with the people around you. Continue reading

5 Natural Compounds That Save Lives

The connection between the natural world and medicine is profound.  The potential to yield new natural medicinal properties is obvious when many modern pharmacological findings are derived from nature.

Over half of all pharmaceuticals developed over the past quarter century are directly derived from or modeled after compounds from nature.

As big pharma increase synthetic drug production and the destruction of Earth’s biosphere continues, there’s a fundamental truth that’s being tragically overlooked. The human race depends on a thriving biodiversity that yields variety of all natural compounds.

1. The Madagascar Periwinkle makes pediatric leukemia and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma curable today.

2.  A Caribbean Sponge slows down HIV, stopping new growth to form.

3.  A Philippine Reef-dwelling Cone Snail produces a non-addictive venom that treats patients with severe pain refractory to narcotics.

4. The Pacific Yew Tree bark yields a chemotherapeutic agent that enhances the lives of women with breast and ovarian cancer.
