You Have The Same Haunts

You both have the similar interests and interconnected wavelengths, You’ve been connected to this person far before you physically met. Ask your soulmate and you’ll see, you both have been to a lot of the same places at different times.

You Recognize Each Other’s ‘Flaws’ And Work With Them

Everyone has ‘imperfections’ or ‘flaws’. Through love and compassion these aspects are seen as simply traits that society has deemed one way or the other. Your soulmate doesn’t see these other definitions, only the beautiful and capable you.

You Can Drop Your Shields Around Each Other

There is no need to be ‘on your guard’ when your with this person who loves you so much. Their natural instinct will always be to protect you. You Can Talk About Anything

13 Laws Of Life You Couldn’t Survive Without

There are common ‘rules’ found in every society. Across the board of humanity, there are the same avenues that will help a person be the best human they can. A group of fantastic humans makes for a fantastic community. Starting with your self, examine these rules and see how you compare. I bet your doing better than you originally gave yourself credit for.

Love Is The Ruling Aspect In All Things

Love is the most powerful force we know of. It heals, protects, encourages, strengthens, and broadens our perspectives. These are even only the tip of the iceberg. To encourage it in our daily lives and the lives of anyone we can guarantees a more productive and fulfilling future. It also aids us in reconciling the past.

Pay Attention To Your Perspective, It’s Your Reality After All

Perspective is reality. The way we see the universe is the way life is. Thankfully we can change the way we see things, with a little effort. The day we take our perspective as unchangeable, is the day we stop progressing and get caught in cycles of suffering and fulfillment.

Be Free

How else would you want to live? In chains? No one wants this but it happens all the time. For others to control us, we must first give them the permission to do so. Resend that right to anyone or anything that has it. Take back your life, even from you. You are already and naturally living life, there is no need to control it.

Life Is An Inspiration

To forget the inherant beauty and unique aspects of life is a sad occurance. Everything should be consistently seen as the miracle it is.

Mind Your True Feelings

Listen to your gut and let your intuition guide your steps. Even if it seems to conflict with the people you love and the institutions you support. In the end it is better to always have the option to happily place your full weight and faith behind what you desire.

Do Not Dispense Blame

The foolish man asks, ‘why is this happening to me? Woe is me, WHY ME?’ The wise man says. ‘that was unfortunate… How can I heal and help others that are going through the same thing?’ In the interest of moving forward, being productive and selfless, the why of a situation isn’t the most important part of life. Blame is a child of ego and ego’s ultimately destroy happiness.

Stand True To Your Ideals

If you are living your life true to what you know is right, it is important to stay on that path. Do not deviate for convenience. Stand with your ideals and they will protect you from any storm.

Be Of Service

The more you can destabilize your sense and entitlement of self, the better off you will be. A great way to let go is to help others and your community. You already exist as you, what are you going to do with that gift?

Be The True You

Others will try and mold you into something that will better suit their purposes or be their version of happy. The only person who can truly know what makes you happy is you. The only person that knows how you can be of the most help to society and the ones you love is you. Always have faith in this fact and you won’t feel the need to be someone else.

NOTHING Is Impossible

Everything was once thought of as impossible, until it wasn’t. To move forward with a bold stride is to know that everything is possible. You are capable of completing any difficult task with the right tools and support.

Learn EVERY Day

We learn something new everyday, naturally. To actively try to learn means you are maximizing the information collected in your life. In a land where knowledge is king, there is no reason you can’t be a monarch in your own rite.

You Are A Powerful Being

This a sharp double bladed sword. With this possibility you can carve away at the mysteries that be and find hidden treasures. This reasoning can also stop you from ever leaving the cave, forever confused by the essence of shadows.

Think Critically And Different Than Others

Do not try to fit the mold. There is no mold to begin with so what exactly are you trying to be when you attempt to be ‘like everyone else’. There is no definition of everyone else or the ‘average person’. When I try to think of one though, phrases like: fear driven, unfulfilled, and close minded come to mind. Did you not just read this list? You are you, and that makes you distinct and powerful. The person who is themselves never needs for company.

A Beginner’s Guide To Understanding Your Chakras

Chakras are energy points in specific places in the body that directly effect our being on multiple levels of existence. As the West comes to embrace Eastern philosophies and practices, chakras have become a topic of debate for many people.  The chakras govern physical and intangible aspects of ourselves. Noticing them not spinning in alignment will have physical and spiritual sypmtoms.

There are ways to nurture them directly, but by treating the symptoms you can realign the source. There are seven main chakras in the body and like most formations of the body, they can fix themselves to an extent.  The  more you practice with them and actively care for their maintenance, the better they will function. The chakras are normally visualized as spinning balls of energy located along the spine at specific junctions.

Even if you don’t subscribe to notions of spirituality attached to chakras, they are still a great way to group together and connect physical, mental and emotional aspects of your being. There are many ways to correct the alignment of chakras, according to many schools of thought and disciplines. You can also ‘free style’ it as your connection and awareness build. Chakras are immersed in every aspect of our being, so there are many ways to effect them.

From music, to ecstatic dance action and intent can harmonize and bring dis balance to your life. I’ve listed the major chakras in ascending order with general information on each. Keep in mind that chakra energy flows from the bottom upward. So you may see issues with your throat chakra but you need to make sure all the chakras preceding it are in line first. Keep your eye out for the intermediate guide, in which we’ll specifically diagnose unhealthy chakra symptoms and how to fix them. Keep in mind that a basic visualizing meditation can go a long way in fixing the chakras.

Root aka Muladhara

The lowest chakra, it is our grounding force, that which ties us to the present and affirms our connection to the planet. People with addiction issues will want to take special care to keep Vishudda spinning correctly. Some ways to keep your throat chakra healthy is to scream, yell, laugh, and gargle salt water. You can also write a letter to yourself, or others. If you truthfully express yourself with compassion it will help re align Vishudda.

2 Reasons You Should Start Meditating Today

Humans are easily broken down into three general categories: mind, spirit, and body. When I say the mind, I am referring to not only the tool that is your brain, but your personality as well. The spirit, in the context of this article, is kin to your soul. In essence, that intangible, unique, common, and interconnecting aspect of humanity. The body is the standard reference to that meat sock you use to roam the scape of the Earth. Meditation is an ancient practice that has helped countless people (including yours truly) with any number of ailments, from various denominations and sects.

The two reasons you should mediate, aren’t the cosmic, golden keys some people may have been expecting and hoping for. No, the two perfect reasons you should start your practice today are far more tangible. You should do it because you deserve to experience life in the most loving, fun and productive manner. The second reason is because the world is in social and spiritual pain. It is up to us to heal ourselves and others.

Because You Deserve It!

Meditation will help you maximize every part of your experience as a person. Restoring your physical health, healing your mind, growing your awareness of all your senses, this is just the tip of the iceberg. And my friend, this iceberg makes the word colossal, extend no further than its own eight letters. You won’t even have to wait for shipping and handling! The effects of meditation are immediate.

As mentioned earlier, there are three components to a person’s make up. Meditation not only helps improve the states of all three but increases the ‘communication’ between the three.  For example, the relationship of your stomach in relation to your emotions will be more readily understood. Often the needs of aspects of our person aren’t actively, or clearly communicating what is needed or the communication method is being misread.

Providing sufficient ‘space’ for all the amazing parts of your sum, is only one of the winnings elements of meditation. I was diagnosed Bi Polar type II and my hunt for a winning combination of drugs was reaching terrible heights. Through meditation and genuine conversations I was able to come off all my medications. I still have ruff spots, but they are manageable. The biggest way meditation helped me was helping me realize how destructive my mania was. While manic or depressed my stomach was never properly communicating with my head, my heart was being ignored by my brain, or my heart would simply flip out. I mistook these flip outs as I was in love, or sad or any number of intense emotions. Meditation clears away the mis communications on a cellular level, providing the three main elements of ‘you’ to seek out and combine efforts to unlock better living.

It Is Every Individual’s Responsibility To Help The World, Starting With Yourself And Your Neighbor

We are the equivalents of cells in an organ. Same as on the micro level we have three main components, our community has the same. Earth is our body. Government, the Internet, communities at large, and society are the mind. The spirit or soul is exactly the same on this scale as the individual. Not only does each element need help but there must be room for the components to ‘speak’ to each other to achieve any goal. The planet (body) is sickened with toxins, drilling and a complete lack of respect for other life. The governments are constantly fight with one another, and when they aren’t at each other’s necks, there are skirmish wars between the governments and the people (who just want to be heard and keep of get basic rights). While many people have found a form of religion or a lack of organized religion or a form of spirituality that helps them be happy. This happiness seems to come at the cost of hate for other sects and groups. All around the world there are core problems with each component but through poor communication, we are no more productive than a dog chasing his tail.

Meditation will help you, as a person, become the best human you could have hoped for. As your presence is healed and made strong, so to will the elements in life you interact with and are simply around. Your empathy will rise and you communication skills will make the pro’s ask you for tips. As you are a necessary and integral part of the whole your health is everyone’s health and vice versa. Through meditation you will find it ripples through communities, no matter the religious faith. As more people are able to realize and ‘hear’ varying messages between their components, the complexities of the macro version will start to reveal their parallels to each person’s unique components. With all these people growing together as a whole, through individual means, answers will start to come.

In the end you need to save yourself, to save your community. You need to recognize the strength in yourself to point it out in others. Only together do we have a chance to better ourselves sustainable manner. And a ‘fight’ among your brothers and sisters, for your brothers and sisters, is always worth the effort.

9 Guiding Intentions That Transform Your Personal Growth

Intention is the safest and most productive way to enjoy your present and plant seeds for a pleasant tomorrow. Not as rigid as expectations and lacking the seeds of disappointment, intentions help keep your goals and priorities in the fore front of your mind. Intentions keep focus on actions not the ideal that powers it. It helps to curb your more unproductive patterns and make space for growth. Here are nine basic intentions that will help you live more freely, love more willingly and be the most productive version of yourself.

Seek YOUR Truth

There are hints alluding to the truths behind the universe in all things. The key is to not only seek out all avenues of learning available to you, but understand what you learn as it is applicable to you. Intelligence does not become wisdom until applied successfully to real life situations.

Believe Anything Is Possible

Things are thought of as ‘impossible’ until they they are re-examined as a difficult possibility. Once that transfer of ‘impossible’ to ‘difficult’ occurs, the situation takes on a snowball effect. The idea gathers more information and intent till the goal is achieved. After it is achieved once, it is bound to repeat itself until it enters a more common category. That initial leap of faith is all it requires.

Examine what you believe is impossible. Mentally put it down, back away and examine it from all angles. Share it with your friends. Remove that terrible label, ‘impossible’. If it something you desire, that means you imagined it. Because a human thought of it, and existing in the infinite universe, any of our dreams and ideas can be realized.

Give Service To Others

Your life should never be ‘all about you’. That mentality will inevitably leave you unfulfilled and lonely. You don’t need to bend over backwards for everyone around you every day. Set time aside whenever you can to help your community or a person you know. You don’t need to solve the worlds problems, but helping someone across the street or returning someone’s lost dog will create a lot of positive energies.  There is also no need to be discerning in your aid. EVERYONE would appreciate some help every so often, and EVERYONE deserves it.

Express Your Light

We are all in this together. I know this is easy to forget with the wide variety of paths that people choose to take. Expressing your true self, love and inner strength at all times, provides a great example to others. It will have a personal and profound effect on everyone.

Everything Is Exactly Where It Needs To Be

In the chaos around us it’s easy to try and ‘fix’ people and situations around us. Realize that we are all connected and entangled, so what may appear to you as disorder, to another it is an expression and example of growth. Inherent in the desire to ‘fix’ or ‘make right’ aspects of life is judegement. Think back to a time you were unfairly judged. The person or institution passing judgement on you was approaching your situation with a completely different set of intentions and resources. What you are trying to do is the same, regardless of way brilliant your intentions are. Make your self of service if asked but don’t go around assuming you know better than others.

See the Creative Source In All Things

This intention follows the belief in a higher power. You don’t need to attribute a name or face to it (some have chosen God, Allah or Yahweh for example). Mine personally is the combined mindfulness that exudes from all life. I see myself in others, my mother in me, my future children in my friends. Find that common link to life and it will ease your ability to love and readily express it.

Follow And Develop Your Passions

If you don’t have a labor of love in your life, your immediate goal is to find one! If we work only to survive, it changes the way we view our strengths, weaknesses, and character. It makes us view them in a pale, unfulfilled light. If, however, we apply ourselves to a goal or concept that we genuinely care about it will color our life with more love, energy and possibility.

Love Yourself

This one seems obvious but it can slip away with our noticing very easily. We use negative reinforcement to motivate us in more ways than I care to think about. An example I normally think of is we don’t care for our bodies so we work out. Watch out for these negative thoughts that we use to productive ends. Take the time to thank your body for being so great and versatile. Take the time to realize you are fine the way you are. If you see a ‘flaw’, change the wording so it becomes a part of your beautiful character. This doesn’t mean that you can’t work towards a more productive and happy you.

6 Things You Lose When You Become Spiritually Awakened

As we grow, become more aware, and love, our thoughts and actions change as well. This is not only due to our goals changing but the resources we draw on become more productive. As we ‘wake’ to the world as it truly is, the truth of it all changes us from the core outward. We are till human so we still experience and project negativity, but the magnitude and length of time being negative changes.

I still get angry at some fairly dumb things, but where before I would become a ball of rage and self destruction, I accept it as it is and smile to my heart. I thank it for being able to experience an array of emotions and through that love and acceptance, my rage subsides. Through the years of experience and learning, I have come to understand the pitfalls life can trick us into stepping into. Here is a list of some of those emotions and concepts that you will naturally let go of as you reach higher levels of consciousness.

Hatred

I talked on this a little but anger and hate are sadly dominant aspects of our society. Anger is like a fire in our souls, that clouds our eyes with smoke and chokes up true expressions. The feeling from anger is nauseating and entirely destructive. After spending long enough in the presence of love, hatred makes us feel physically ill. The once perceived strength that comes from anger, is seen as one dimensional and unproductive.

Jealousy

Jealousy is a direct descendant of comparative thought. WE look at what we have and compare it to another. We then judge the two parties off superficial elements. As we grow as people and fill our lives with love and works of compassion, we stop worrying about what others have. We acknowledge our own successes and failures as being precious and irreplaceable. This makes our mental and spiritual ‘belongings’ priceless. The joy attached to experiences and loved ones has shown us the flimsiness of the pursuit of physical objects. As we see others with a deeper understanding or a more powerfully expressed form of love, we are glad to have witnessed it. We are filled with joy at the success of others, because everyone deserves to be happy.

Fear Of Failure

For you to have built up your consciousness and prepare your tools of mindfulness, you have undoubtedly stumbled more than once. But as we grow older and wiser, we fear scrapped knees less and less. We know that that the harm of failure only extends as far as a lesson not learned. We welcome all opportunities of growth and knowledge. Our ‘tools’ wouldn’t be nearly so sharp if we never ‘sharpened’ them on suffering.

Insecurity

This thought child of comparative thought is normally one of the first negative formations to leave us. Insecurity can not prevail where there is acceptance, love and hope for the future. We remember that we are a perfect and constantly evolving form of beauty.

Anxiety

The future and past are nothing more than mysteries and stories. We don’t allow the unknown to cause us discomfort. We have faced it down many times and survived for the better.

Revenge

If someone wrongs us, the natural urge at one point was to return the favor. As we conquer our own negative formations, we come to recognize the pain that fuels the antagonists in our life. We don’t hate them, we don’t want to inject more negativity into the world. Staying wary of potential harm, we avoid it or try to save it from the negativity of their actions.
